For the Purafruta fruit bars much manual work is needed. The fresh fruits are peeled by hand, the pulp is cut into thin slices, gently dried and pressed into the Purafrutaform with much love. The varieties pineapple, baby banana and mango are 100% from one kind of fruit. All Purafruta fruit bars are NOT made from purees or concentrates.
Grown in peace in the nature of Colombia, all fruits for the Hiba fruit bars are delivered by local smallholders and paid fairly. The partner, friend and producer Francisco Suarez exclusively hires local women (currently over 150) and guarantees their fair pay. The fruits are all biologically produced, however, the individual farmers are too small to be certified, therefore, the fruit bars are "only" conventional. They are gluten-free, vegan and kosher, contain no added sugar and are free of any additives. 100 % pure fruit, you can taste it.
